Service Description

Sewing can bring joy and creativity into your life, I know this for a fact! This 10 week class is designed to inspire an endless love of sewing by teaching you both hand and machine sewing techniques. Whether you want to sew bags, stuffed animals, accessories, or even clothes, my goal is to help you learn new skills, build confidence, and create amazing things. This class is perfect for beginners as well as sewists with some experience who want to master the art of sewing while having fun and enjoying the process. Join us and discover the happiness that sewing can bring! - Class is open to kids ages 10 and up - Class starts at 12:30pm and ends at 1:45pm. First day of class is January 13. Last day of class is March 23. No class 2/24 - All supplies and use of sewing machine are included in tuition; the prettiest cotton fabrics, thread, felt, interfacing, stuffing, buttons, patterns, everything!) **This class can be retaken, the love of sewing never ends! Plus, there are always skills to be mastered and new skills to learn. Students who sign up for this session can sign up for another session.

POLICIES

Kids classes +Students can withdraw anytime. Please give a 4 week notice of cancellation. If full payment has been made, you will receive a refund of the remaining classes after the 4 weeks of notice of cancellation ( ie: if there are 8 remaining sessions, you will be refunded 4 sessions.) +Make-up class policy: There are no refunds or credits for missed classes. Heartfelt may offer make ups, if schedule allows it, but make ups are not guaranteed. Make up spots become available when another student misses a class. I ask parents to let me know when your child will be missing (with as much anticipation as they can), knowing that helps me make spots available for students that want make up a missed class. There are no make ups for missed make ups. Make up classes must be scheduled during the session the class was missed and are not transferable to the next session. +Winter weather policy- You will be notified via e-mail or text when class has to be canceled due to inclement weather. The first class canceled due to inclement weather will not be rescheduled. A make up classes will be scheduled after the second canceled "snow day", i.e. if two Saturdays are canceled for snow, one Saturday will be made up. If more than one class has been canceled due to snow, then make-up options may be presented to students and families on a class-by-class basis depending on the workshop's availability. Missed make-up classes will not be rescheduled. Although Heartfelt will make every effort to make-up all canceled classes during the winter session, it cannot guarantee that all make-ups will occur. The Heartfelt Workshop cannot provide refunds for canceled classes due to inclement weather. ONE DAY WORKSHOPS: There are no refunds, make-ups or credits for non-attendance. If notice is given 7+ days from workshop date, a full refund minus $25 non-refundable fee will be given. If you can't attend, you may find someone to fill your spot. If cancellation is made 6 or less days before workshop date, no refund will be given.
