Service Description
Are you ready to grow your sewing skills? Sew Confident class is designed for adults who have completed Sew Happy or already know the basics of using a sewing machine and sewing simple projects. In this class you will reinforce basic skills, learn new ones, and build confidence to create practical and beautiful pieces you will love using. We will make: * boxy pouch: practice sewing a zipper, intro to quilting, working with interfacing and structure. * apron: practice curves, casings, sewing straps, turning tubes, and learn zig-zag the raw edges. * patchwork pillow cover with zipper closure: intro to patchwork and precision sewing. This is a 2 hour class open to adults 18+. Bring your smile, coffee or tea; come with a friend or 2, and let's get sewing! No need to bring anything, there are beautiful fabrics to choose from at the workshop and all notions, supplies and use of sewing machine are included in payment. **IMPORTANT before signing up: Please read policies below.
Upcoming Sessions
POLICIES
Adult classes run in 4-class sessions. Please review all dates carefully before registering. There are no refunds or make-up classes for missed sessions, unless another adult class is available the same week. If a class is cancelled by The Heartfelt Workshop, students will receive a refund or a make-up class. A minimum enrollment is required for classes to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, the class may be cancelled and students will be refunded or transferred. Adult classes are sold as full sessions only—no drop-ins or pro-rated pricing. Materials and use of sewing machines are included unless otherwise noted.
